What's new in WP Analyze — features, fixes and data-accuracy changes, newest first.

  1. Latest

Top plugin authors & Just released

Two new leaderboards on the home page, built from wp.org data the daily sweep was already fetching and throwing away.

    • Added Top plugin authors — every author ranked by the combined install base of everything they publish. Click one to see all their plugins.
    • Added Just released — the newest plugins in the directory, ordered by WordPress.org's own publication date rather than when we first saw them.
    • Added an author filter on Rankings, so /rankings?author=… lists one author's whole catalogue.
    • Changed the home page layout: dropped the "All plugins" table, which duplicated the list already in the hero panel.
  2. Honest chart coverage

    • Added a notice on plugin pages showing how many days of history exist for the range you picked. Selecting "1y" three days into tracking no longer draws a stub line with no explanation.
    • Fixed growth percentages jumping when a plugin crossed an install bucket. Growth is now calculated only from the fine install estimate, so a bucket change no longer registers as a double-digit swing that never happened.
  3. Daily accuracy

    • Fixed the daily sweep skipping snapshots when a plugin's rank moved only slightly, which left gaps in the install and rank history.
    • Changed empty chart states to lead with the current figure instead of a blank panel, so a plugin with no history yet still shows something real.
